Kirkwood by the River is a Continuing Care Retirement Community located in the Birmingham/Irondale area and we are seeking experienced Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) with one (1) or more years of experience in a skilled nursing environment.

Kirkwood is offering a $2000 SIGN-ON BONUS and has Enhanced Shift Differential Pay

Full-Time Available Shifts:

6:30 am - 7:00 pm, 12 hr. shifts, 3 days week

2:30 pm - 11:00 pm, 8 hr. shifts, 4 days week

6:30 pm - 7:00 am, 12 hr. shift, 3 days week

The CNA's interact directly with residents by providing comfort and interaction, monitoring their vital signs and assisting with daily living needs. We are searching for dedicated and compassionate individuals who have a passion for serving in an elderly community.

Kirkwood is also known for our outstanding CNA to resident ratio, which is one of the best in the Birmingham area.

Successful Candidates will:

• Have a current certification in the State of Alabama or have the ability to transfer the certificate from another State to Alabama;
• Be at least 18 years old;
• Speak, read and understand English;
• Be able to perform the essential functions outlined in the job description; and
• Have a positive attitude and able to work well with other employees.
