Job Posting DescriptionBoston Childrens Hospital Neighborhood Partnerships (BCHNP) is a school-based behavioral health program. Our purpose is to promote the social, emotional, and behavioral health and well-being of students, caregivers, and staff. For many years, we have collaborated with the Boston Public Schools (BPS) to provide clinical care, consultation, professional development, research, and advocacy. Training and Access Project (TAP), an initiative within BCHNP, partners with BPS and school communities nation-wide to focus on building capacity to address social-emotional learning and behavioral health.

It provides comprehensive professional development and consultation to expand resources as well as support building sustainable systems and processes within school communities. In addition, TAP has launched a series of free online trainings about behavioral health in schools reaching 9,000 educators nationwide.This Training & Access Project Social Worker (TAP) will be responsible for: Designing, facilitating and evaluating professional development to school professionals in Boston Public SchoolsCollaborating with TAP team in developing and designing of the content and structure of workshops focused on social-emotional learning and behavioral health in schoolsCo-facilitation and presentation of workshops that cover a variety of social emotional and behavioral health related topics designed to meet the needs of school based behavioral health providers, educators, and school professionalsDevelopment of supporting resources and materials to supplement trainingsDeveloping and providing training in the community and online, and support dissemination of TAP trainingsCo-facilitation of trainings in school communities throughout Massachusetts and beyondDevelopment of online training for educators nationwide, school based behavioral health clinicians, and other school staff including creating content, recruiting interviewees, peer reviewing, presenting, and developing resources for the course website in a variety of formats on topics related to social-emotional learning and behavioral health in schools.BCHNP strongly encourages BIPOC applicants and applicants who have a multi-language capacity to applyTo qualify, you must have: Masters Degree in Social Work; MA LICSW requiredExperience working in the field of school-based behavioral health a plus.
