As a full-time, exempt CPS Solutions, LLC Clinical Pharmacy Manager at JFK Medical center, a part of Hackensack Meridian Health System, you will oversee the development and implementation of all clinical programs for the pharmacy of this 499-bed community hospital. As an integral part of the pharmacy leadership team, you will be collaborating with operations, quality and safety. You will be assisting with the pharmacy residency program, precepting pharmacy students, providing training to pharmacists, and managing clinical specialists (ID, ED, and ICU) along with the decentralized pharmacists. In this role, you will also coordinate all activities related to the P&T Committee and formulary management.
Schedule: This position will work 40 hours per week. This position will work predominantly the day shift and other shifts as needed. This position will be responsible for on-call 1 week every 4-6 weeks dependent on available staff.
About the Facility: JFK Medical Center, a member of the Hackensack Meridian Health System, located in Edison, NJ is a non-profit 499-bed community hospital, serving residents of Middlesex, Union and Somerset counties in Central New Jersey. With more than 900 affiliated physicians, JFK offers a complete array of advanced services including general and specialized surgery, neurology, cardiac care, rehabilitation, maternity and pediatric care, and emergency medicine. This 24/7 pharmacy is staffed by close to 100 pharmacy professionals (clinical specialists, collaborative care pharmacists, clinical staff pharmacists with a multitude of support staff) and has an energetic and dynamic management team. CPS Solutions, LLC has partnered with the hospital to manage the day-to-day operations of this pharmacy. This position is an employee of CPS Solutions, LLC.

Required Qualifications:
- Pharmacy degree (BS or PharmD) from an ACPE-accredited school of pharmacy; PharmD preferred
- Current Pharmacist license in good standing in New Jersey
- Completion of a PGY-1 residency required
- Completion of PGY-2 Residency preferred
- Board Certification Preferred (e.g. Pharmacotherapy, Critical Care, etc)
- Experience as a Pharmacist in a Hospital setting preferred
- Experience in clinical pharmacy specifically related to medication selection and formulary management.
- Experience in pharmacy management including staff management
- Ability to work independently, set priorities, make critical decisions, and respond to client concerns
- Ability and willingness to precept various students.
- Demonstrated accuracy and timeliness in a work setting
- Experience using computer applications including word processing, spreadsheets, and pharmacy information systems
- Effective communications skills; verbal and written
Hospital Requirements: (may be required)
- (PPD) TB Skin Test - Proof of negative TB skin test within the last 12 months
- (MMR) Measles, Mumps and Rubella or A Blood Titer proving immunity
- Varicella - (2) documented doses or A Blood Titer proving
- Hep B3 Series (or declination)
- (Flu) Influenza-required for hire between Oct 1st-April 30th
