California Dreaming. Hospital in the San Francisco area is seeking Clinical Nurse Specialists / CNS to join their team.

Opening in their Level 3 NICU (also have an opening in Southern, CA) . Seeking subject matter experts for these are inpatient positions.

You'll need to be: Masters' prepared Clinical Nurse Specialist with your CNS certification . Will consider new grads or experience Clinical Nurse Specialists . CA RN license is preferred.

Job Summary: As a Advanced Practice Provider, CNS is an clinical expert for complex patients in the NICU. You will consult with Physicians to create a care plan, train staff to ensure they follow the plan. You will be a senior member of the team who is well respected for their knowledge. F ollow up on patients and document any changes in outcomes and recommend new approaches. In addition, the CNS shares information with other departments to identify trends and needs for intervention. Provide input to department managers on cases. And when needed, the CNS presents at shift hand-off to document special cases.
