POSITION SUMMARYReports To:
Practice Manager
Summary:Perform administrative and certain clinical duties under the direction of physician. Administrative duties may include scheduling appointments, FMLA, Prior Authorizations, maintaining medical records, billing, and coding for insurance purposes. Clinical duties may include taking and recording vital signs and medical histories, preparing patients for examination, and administering medications as directed by physician.Work Schedule:Must be able to work non-standard work hours. -
SKILLS & ABILITIESEducationMust be a graduate of an accredited medical assisting or nursing school.ExperienceSix months to one year related experienceComputer SkillsProficient in Microsoft Office, email and basic computer skills for other software used throughout the hospital for your area of responsibility.Must exhibit basic computer knowledgeCertificates & LicensesCertified medical assistant preferred, or a nurse registered in the State of Indiana.Other RequirementsMay take up to 6 months to become proficient in this position.

Schedule: FT, Days, Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
