Clinical Lab Assistant/ Phlebotomist - Lourdes Lab - Full Time - Evening
Job description
Perform phlebotomy and clinical waived and moderately complex laboratory tests in chemistry, hematology, and microbiology. Recognize problems, identify the cause (technical or instrumental) and make simple corrections by using preset strategies. Use and monitor quality control procedures within predetermined parameters. Performs all tasks in accordance with the Company’s safety and compliance programs.
Salary Range: $18.55 - $26.36
- This position is open to current Phlebotomists interested in becoming a Clinical Lab Assistant. Receive 8 weeks of training and at the successful completion of the training program receive a $5000 sign on bonus.
**The sign on bonus for this position will pay out as follows: $2500 will be paid out on your first check. After completing the Clinical Lab Assistant training program $5,000 will be paid out for a total of $7,500.
EDUCATION
Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent
Population Specifics: Knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the population of patients served at LMC.
Experience: Completion of Phlebotomy program or 3+ years of lab related experience including phlebotomy or clinical lab assistant duties.
Required Certification: WA State MA-Phlebotomist
