Nexus Health Partners PLLC is at a point of rapid growth throughout the state of Texas. We provide wound care in various settings, which include skilled nursing facilities and patient homes. This is an incredible opportunity for someone who has the passion to support a team of clinicians as they increase their ability to reach patients in need of their care. The Clinical Director position is directly responsible for clinical training and oversight, understanding of Medicare guidelines across various settings as related to wound care and application, and qualification for advanced biologic patches.

The Clinical Director operates in a team with other clinic healthcare providers and support staff. The Director supervises the day-to-day clinical activities of all medical provider staff. Such supervision must be in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern the clinic, and as may be required to ensure that the highest degree of quality care is maintained.

Responsibilities:

• Weekly duties will include some direct patient care, as well as dedicated time for the supervisory/administrative role

– Anticipate roughly 50% clinical, 50% admin

• Mobile wound care at locations as described above
• Oversight of other providers
• Develop and implement training and competencies
• Perform routine chart and care audits

Position details:

• Full time/Remote/Contract position
• May be required to travel to Boerne office weekly or monthly
• Must be willing to travel
• Weekdays primarily; potential for weekends can be discussed if preferred

Compensation:

• Salary: $150,000
• Travel accommodations

Required:

• Active and in good standing APRN or Physician Assistant licensure
• 5+ years of wound care experience
• Driver’s license

Preferred:

• Wound care certification
• Supervisory experience
