Position Description

The Vision Source Oviedo Clinic Associate needs to produce exceptional patient care. They are responsible for directing patients through the eye exam process. They perform pre-testing, preparing the exam room, entrance testing, contact lens services, and scribing for the doctors. This person must possess a positive attitude, excellent communication skills and align with our company mission and values. They need to smile!

Key Accountabilities

• Directing patients through the eye exam process.
• Performing pretesting (Autorefraction, IOP and Optomap)
• Preparing the exam room (keeping stocked, organized, and cleaning between patients)
• Performing entrance testing (Case History, Chart Preparation, VAs, Pupils, EOMs, Cover Test, Confrontations, Blood Pressure, Check Angles / Dilation)
• Performing Contact Lens Services (Insertion / Removal Training, Care Instructions, Testing Rx and assessing Fit, Selling Supplies)
• Scribing for the doctors - recording findings and completing the chart.
• Becoming certified into the CPO, CPOA, CPOT program.
