The RN Clinic Nurse assists Physicians / Nurse Practitioners in the clinic. Provides direct care by performing comprehensive health assessments. Performs duties such as delivering patient care, administrating treatments, monitoring vital signs, performing tests, handling medical emergencies, and recording patient behavior.

Essential Functions

• Responsible for day to day operation and activities of the clinic and medical service of the consulting physicians.

• Ensure that resident care delivered is in compliance with facility’s policy and procedure

• Responsible to ensure that clinical procedures requested are performed in the appropriate time frame

• Keep the Medical Director, DNS, Director of TCU and ADNS apprised of clinic functions

• Assist consulting physicians as needed. Ensure physicians conduct their required visits.

• Interface with transportation companies to ensure residents will be transported to appointments.

• Deal effectively, professionally and tactfully with residents and families.

• Assess employees upon return to work. Collaborate with Medical Director if there are any concerns or questions.

• Perform annual employee physicals.

• Administer influenza, pneumonia, hepatitis and PPD to participants and or care members.

• Demonstrates the ability to recognize priorities in organization of workflow. Able to perform duties independently with minimal need for direct supervision.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Salary: $46.15-$51.28/hour based on education, experience, and training.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Per diem

Pay: From $95,000.00 per year
