JOB DUTIES:

We are looking for a dynamic person with the supervisory experience and strong leadership skills necessary to lead an amazing team of Client Advocates as they strive to make a positive impact in our community.

  • Provide supervision for the Client Advocates who provide intensive case management services to TANF eligible clients.
  • Supervise and support a group of Client Advocates as they work to strengthen and improve Montana’s workforce system.
  • Assist clients and partners with businesses to assist with hiring and retaining skilled workers
  • Build and maintain relationships with team-members, businesses and other community partners.
  • Ensure that services are well aligned with local business workforce needs by developing partnerships.
  • Provide employment services and career guidance to workers and job seekers using applicable information.


KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITES:

If you are the right person for this opportunity, you will have the following knowledge, skills or abilities:

  • Management practices, systems and procedures such as office management, program planning, data and documentation processes. Ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Personnel management which includes establishing and maintaining effective working relationships while leading a diverse group of employees.
  • Budgeting.
  • Vocational counseling and negotiating skill to provide direction to the diverse programs supervised.
  • Customer service, facilitation abilities and effective communication skills (both oral and written)
  • Applying laws, rules and procedures while promoting program improvements and agency services through active participation.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Your preparation for this opportunity could include:

  • a combination of relevant experiences including a degree in a field such as: business, human services, education, psychology, human resources, public administration or social work AND two years of related experience

OR

  • 6 years of directly related qualifying experience that has prepared you for this opportunity

OR

  • Equivalent combinations of education and experience will also be considered.

  • Demonstrated supervisory experience is preferred.

Salary: $ 40,889.00 - 54,980.00 Yearly
