Education:
BS Degree in Civil Engineering minimum 3 years of experience.
Job Description:
Perform a broad range of civil engineering services, including, planning, mapping, research, design, development, test, installation, and operation. Areas include real property management, facility engineering, corrosion control, environmental assessments, antenna maintenance, and infrastructure work.
Qualifications:
Possess excellent communication and analytical skills, including a working knowledge of computer systems and integrated software application programs. Position requires the ability to pass and maintain a security clearance. BICSI (TECH) Certified and trained IAW 45SWI 17-213.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Lead and participate in design/implementation teams.
- All work to be performed in compliance with government standards and Air Force directives as stated in PWS.
- Maintain all quarterly metrics and support reporting.
- Coordinate and work closely with Civil engineering and other engineering and operational disciplines.
- Verify and comply with engineering documentation standards, configuration management documents and test procedures.
- Assist with and ensure all project documentation is completed and archived.
- Prepare or update system configuration documents using 2D/3D CAD software.
- Perform support services for facility condition assessment, space management, environmental assessments, overseas energy and utility programs, CE Project and form 332 process management for airfield discrepancies.
- Perform Reliability Centered Maintenance / Predictive Testing & Inspection (RCM/PT&I).
- Support labor and estimating activities. logistics, financial, and program management disciplines.
- Support maintenance of interior and exterior fiber optic and copper cable plant systems.
- Support training and development of engineers.
- Interface and support information exchange with customers at various levels of the organization.
- Reduce Ozone depleting substances.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
