Delta Engineers, Architects, & Surveyors (Delta) is a growing, multidisciplinary AEC firm founded in 1976 and based in the Southern Tier of New York State with additional offices in Central New York and Chevy Chase, MD. WHO WE NEED

We are seeking a versatile and team-oriented Civil Engineer to join our Civil Group at our Vernon, NY Office. The desired candidate will have a Bachelor s Degree in Civil Engineering, or an Associate s Degree in Civil Engineering with 1- 5 years of experience. PE License Preferred.

Proficiency in AutoCAD is required; AutoCAD Civil 3D knowledge is preferred. Hydraulic and hydrological modeling software experience is preferred.

Primary duties will include:

• Performing work which involves conventional types of plans, investigations, surveys, structures, and/or equipment.
• Solving engineering problems using experience, judgment, and education.
• Becoming proficient in group design software.
• Preparing or assisting in the preparation of engineering documents, details, schedules, or reports as assigned.
• Attending client meetings/presentations.
• Communicating with client representatives, contractors, and suppliers.
• Serving on field inspection teams to obtain and document existing conditions using field notes, sketches, and photography.
• Developing quantity take-offs and construction cost estimates.
• Participating in site visits/inspections during construction.
