Sentinel is seeking a Cisco Network Engineer for one of our strategic partners located in Grand Rapids, MI. While owning all things Cisco Networking, this position will be integral in the on prem to cloud migration of our network and voice platforms. While primarily designing, implementing and supporting the clients current data network, you will be working with an Agile project team on the Arista cloud network modernization. This position is a hybrid (3 days in office/2 remote) contract to hire position located in Grand Rapids, MI.

• 5+ years of experience with Cisco Networking solutions including Routers, Switches, MPLS, VoIP (Basic), Vlans, subnetting, Gateways and ACL’s
• Knowledge and understanding of basic Cisco VoIP Infrastructure.
• CCNA Required (CCNP Preferred)
• Hands-on working knowledge of Cisco Wireless infrastructure, Cisco DNA and Cisco Controllers.
• Experience with SD-WAN preferred
• Involvement as a member of an Agile/Scrum team preferred
• Availability for off hours/day cutovers
• Ability to work effectively with cross functional teams and vendors
• Travel may be required but the expectation is very rare and between 2-4 times a year if at all.
• The candidate must have a car, as this position may travel between location and the transportation of equipment
• Legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
• Must demonstrate a “can-do” attitude
