Job description
Job responsibilities:
- Consult with senior management and the businesses at differing levels, using strong relationship skills and expertise to diagnose people and organizational gaps and identify ongoing development needs for senior levels within the line of business
- Implement custom people initiatives to improve culture and engagement within the business (such as engagement or culture change programs, management development, diversity strategies)
- Partner closely with the My Performance Product team to support delivery of, and business readiness for, the annual performance development cycle.
- Provide regular internal and external business insights that impact the firmwide skills strategy, including strategic changes within the overall business landscape, organizational design, external market developments (e.g. technology advancements), emerging skills and capabilities; anticipating future needs and skills gaps, and the impact of these on the firmwide skills framework
- Design and facilitate development interventions for teams and individuals including senior level offsites
- Provide thought leadership on the business diversity, equity & inclusion strategy and needs
- Partner with firmwide DEI to develop a strategy and plan for diversity, equity & inclusion initiatives, including metrics that demonstrate impact and progress.
- Proactively identify opportunities to optimize talent, enhance manager and leader effectiveness and increase diversity, equity and inclusion by embedding DEI throughout talent strategies and processes and representing the client voice at firmwide DEI forums
- Coach individuals to improve performance, using a variety of tools such as MBTI, Hogan Development Survey and Interpersonal Leadership Styles and relevant coaching techniques
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Deep organizational development knowledge and experience
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work well in a team with others in a matrix environment.
- Excellent project management and planning skills
- Strong facilitation skills at all levels of the organization
- Knowledge of individual, team, manager and leader development techniques including coaching and feedback
- Experience working with senior internal clients, with an ability to build strong relationships at all levels of the organization. and manage conflicting priorities
- Ability to influence stakeholders to reach a mutually agreeable solution
- Experience in designing and delivering development interventions
- Highly effective analytical skills - ability to provide clear, effective and concise reporting
