Status: Full Time

Shift: Monday - Friday, 8:30 - 4:30, with Evenings and Weekends as needed

Location: Greensburg, but will travel to all 3 Campuses

What will I do as an employee with Redstone?

As a Chaplain, supporting the Redstone mission will include the following responsibilities:

• Provides spiritual care and support to residents in keeping with their belief system through visitation in public spaces and resident living spaces.
• Provides spiritual programming across the continuum of care, including community worship, communion, celebration of life services, Bible studies, and other programming.
• Visits residents when admitted to a hospital and the hospital stay is projected to be of more than three days duration.
• Develop a reference collection of employee resources related to wide ranging subjects of employee concerns including: childcare, food instability, healthcare benefits, utility assistance, housing, transportation, emergency assistance funds, emotional and mental health, relationships, addiction treatment and recovery programs, family support programs, etc.
• Make regular visits to each campus weekly to interact with employees in order to build relationships of trust and friendship.
• Provide referral service for assistance to employees with specific needs, i.e. assistance with healthcare benefits, emotional well-being, childcare concerns, food instability, drug and alcohol addiction, relationship issues, and other concerns.
• Support the wellbeing of employees through confidential discussion both on the campuses and off-site locations if preferred.
• Provide Chaplain Emergency care for crisis intervention, and work closely with management on any emergency situation or employee needs.

What do I need for this role with Redstone?

• To be a duly ordained minister, lay pastor, or deacon
• Masters of Divinity degree (preferred) or equivalent endorsement by the denominational body
• Two units of CPE (Clinical Pastoral Education) (preferred)
