The CAO Enterprise Change Management Office (ECMO) team is seeking to hire a Change Management Relationship/Portfolio Manager to help stand-up and be a part of this new centralized capability. The CM Relationship/Portfolio Manager will (1) support the development and management of Citi’s central change management capability, (2) serve as a guide and liaise with aligned to either a business group(s) or a program group(s), by providing guidance to ensure initiatives within the portfolio adhere to the central Change Management standards and (3) engage and collaborate with other key stakeholders to embed change management throughout the organization. The CM Relationship/Portfolio Manager will lead a small group of CM Relationship/Portfolio Managers and collaborate with other Senior Leads.
Responsibilities:
- Co-Develop Citi’s Enterprise Change Management capability
- Drive the development (formal design, customization, and installation) and ongoing management of the organization’s central Change Management framework, methodology and toolkit
- Lead knowledge and capability transfer of a common Change Management toolkit (ADKAR, Change Management Risk Assessments, PCT, Proxima, Impact Index)
- Champion and develop change capability of organizational leaders and support them in being sponsors of change – including assessing strengths and gaps, creating development plans, and building sponsorship skills through training and coaching
- Build and manage relationships with key horizontal functions (e.g., Program Management, ESPA/Communications, HR, L&D, Culture, Tech, etc.) to synchronize efforts
- Ensure the Integration Lead works with the Change Management Community– select, onboard, and provide guidance and direction to change agents and other change practitioners
- Provide tactical and strategic perspective to the ECMO team and other members of the Change Management community, including federated change professionals embedded in BUs / functions (once established)
- Introduce innovative improvements the ease of change adoption and adaptation across Citi
- Apply change management methodology and tools to Priority Initiatives
- Advise on onboarding, consulting, and coaching activities with initiative teams on Change Management application to drive achievement of successful outcomes
- Ensure key Change Management tools and techniques are imbedded in the day-to-day work of initiative teams
- Drive tangible results in the deployment of Change Management models, tools, and techniques across the organization for large-scale, cross-functional change efforts
- Lead administration, analysis, mitigation planning and management of applicable change management diagnostics, tools, and plans for assigned initiatives
- Support and maintain relationships with people-leaders with specific Change Management (people-related) mitigations as needed, e.g., CLARC model
- Collaborate with other Key Stakeholders
- Liaise between initiative teams and ECMO – provide guidance on Change Management practices and expectations, provide feedback from the initiatives to the ECMO
- Advise on organization-wide communication and engagement activities to assess and build commitment to successful change
- Prepare for Executive Sponsor SteerCo/EMT updates on Change Management with regards to your aligned business group(s) / program group(s) and provide feedback and guidance to the executive sponsors/leaders
- Work with the Integration Lead to integrate Change Management activities into ongoing processes across the Transformation Office and horizontal functions (e.g., HR, L&D, Tech, etc.)
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.
- 12+ years of relevant business experience
- Some formal experience with and/or training in change management, including change management certification (e.g., Prosci)
- Experience in building capabilities aligned with business outcomes (an understanding of how change management drives value and sustainability)
- Experience interfacing with executive leadership and HR
- Considerable experience working cross functionally in a collaborative environment, including comfort with ambiguity and uncertainty.
- Proven ability to work well under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Proven ability to develop ideas from concept to an executable plan
- Advanced project management skills (formal training and/or experience with PM systems a plus)
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills
- Strong problem-solving skills and personal resilience, able to work through conflicts
- Strong business planning, organizing, prioritizing and analytical skills
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite
