Niagara Falls Memorial is seeking a CERTIFIED ULTRASOUND TECH to join our growing team!

Under the direction of a qualified radiologist/physician, the sonographer will perform a variety of technical procedures in the application of non-ionizing high frequency ultrasound waves to patients for diagnostic purposes. Has the ability to perform all technical procedures required for the ultrasonic assessment of patients. Must exercise a high degree of technical competence, accuracy and judgement. Has a sound knowledge of the terminology and common practices of modern ultrasound.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Satisfactory completion of a formal Radiologic Technology Training Program in an AMA approved school with additional Ultrasound Technology training;

or One year Ultrasound Certificate in Diagnostic Medical Sonography;

or Bachelor’s degree with major in Ultrasound Technology;

or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Successful completion of at least a minimum of one (1) RDMS certification.
• Current RDMS Board certification or registry eligible required.
• Minimum12 months of experience preferred.

We also offer a comprehensive range of surgical services.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $32.00 - $40.00 per hour
