Oma Robotics has been developing specialized Artificial Intelligence software, robotics and imaging systems now ready to support our clinicians in making consistent, data-driven decisions. Our goal is to increase In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) procedures' success rates (public data reported to average only 30%), reduce the number of IVF cycles and reduce the costs that patients must endure today (often up to $50K out of pocket).

That mission was the catalyst to secure financial backing to both develop the technology and open our own clinics throughout the US in 2021/2022. We are preparing for a market launch this quarter with more details on our Company.

Overview of the position: Patients come first and for patients, our Medical Assistant will be their advocate from the first interaction through their entire fertility care. Your role will be to reinforce our commitment to the best possible experience, patient care and outcomes. Here are some of key attributes for this role and Team member:

• Patient focused, empathetic care. Interact in a welcoming and comforting way. Be proactive in describing their treatment plan at Oma, introduce whom they will meet and their responsibilities, clarifying physician's instructions, ensure patients feel they can freely and readily ask questions.
• Facilitate completion and submittal of all necessary enrollment paperwork including patient/couple medical histories, consent forms, financial approval, etc. Assist patients with updating pretreatment requirements.
• Support physicians, nurses, and clinicians in a variety of clinic procedures including patient tasks such as height, weight, vitals; collecting and storing specimens per qualifications); prepare examination and surgical rooms, etc.
• Become expert at and adhere to all manner of Company and Practice standards, policies and procedures. regulatory and compliance requirements including HIPAA confidentiality, OSHA for healthy and safe work environment, insurance requirements, equipment maintenance, etc.
• Medical Assistant certification is a requirement
• Position is located in our Oma Fertility Clinic in Santa Barbara, CA.

The base salary offered for this position will vary based on factors such as role, level, and geographic location. For most hires, the hourly rate is expected to fall between the range of $20-26/hr. This position does include benefits, which are not reflected in this range. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors, including internal equity and the candidate's experience and skills relevant to the role, and therefore may vary slightly from the amounts listed above.
