Job description
We are looking for an outstanding Center Supervisor to support the daily operations of Atlas Immersion Academy Hawthorne locations. As the Center Supervisor, you will be part of the management team and will assist and support the Atlas Hawthorne locations in all aspects of the management of the center.
This position will be full-time for 90 days, with the position and title being reassessed in August 2023
As a Center Supervisor, you will be committed to making your center successful by ensuring effective management of all education, teaching, licensing, and safety-related standards.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must love children and have the desire to make a difference in the lives of others
- A CDA or a Step 8 in the Oregon Registry with at least 1 year of School Leadership experience preferred
- A Bachelor’s Degree in education appropriate for ages served by the school
- A Bachelor’s Degree out of the field with relevant work experience in the ECE field.
- Proven knowledge of Certified Family Child Care Rules & Regulations
- Specific requirements as set by the Oregon state standards.
- Experience with revenue generation, budgets, and financial accountability.
- Proficiency with technology and software applications including the current version of MS Office, Gmail, Google Drive, Slack, ChildcareCRM, and Canva.
- Fluency in French is preferred.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Effectively operates and manages all aspects of a childcare school, including human resources, customer relations, financial systems, quality control, and facility management.
- Provides creative, age-appropriate programs to all children following the Atlas Curriculum and educational philosophy.
- Establishes strong working relationships with state licensing authorities, families, and faculty.
- Maintain scheduling of events and represent the company when needed
- Create reports and submit them to the director or other executives
- Establishes strong working relationships with our families and faculty.
- Ensures that our daily operation practices align with the Atlas Core Values.
- Act as a lead classroom teacher on average two days per week while the other three days will be dedicated to the office
- Will serve as the backup substitute as needed in the classroom for support
