Assistant Manager/Cashier/Sales Associate in Truck Stop – New Castle, DE

No nights, weekends or holidays.

Seeking a mature, capable, reliable and hard working candidate. Monday thru Friday MUST be available for both shifts. Hours vary but are approximately 5:15am-1pm and 11am-6:30pm. Approximately 37 hours a week. MUST pass background check. The requirements of this position are, Prior Cashier, Retail and food service experience (at least 3 years) Preferably prior Gas Station or Truck Stop experience. Be punctual, reliable and honest. Reliable transportation. Work in a team environment as well as alone. Valid drivers license, Social Security card. The candidates must possess the following skills. Have a friendly and outgoing personality. Maintain a professional level of service at all times. Be able to work at a fast pace. Ability to maintain composure when store is busy and handle multiple tasks. Posses good communication and math skills.

The person who holds this job will be responsible for running the cash register, turning on fuel pumps, handling special credit card transactions, answering the phone, taking food orders. They will also be responsible for maintaining the condition of the store throughout their shift including dusting and cleaning store and bathrooms, mopping floors. Checking in orders, filling in product and keeping merchandise clean and organized.

Pay: $16.00 per hour
