Tate Civil Construction has an immediate opening for a Carpentry Foreman in Glenwood Springs. In this job, you will be responsible for assisting the site superintendent with self-performed carpentry management and with subcontractor work review, quality control, coordination, safety, and inspections. Contractor operates primarily in the design/build and design/assist project delivery methods. Projects include residential and commercial construction new construction in the Roaring Fork Valley and typically range in size from $1m to $4m.

Job Highlights:

• Work areas: New Castle to Carbondale (Not a remote position)

Qualifications:

• Competent with framing layout, door & window install,
• Familiar with siding, flashing and exterior waterproofing means and methods.
• Familiar with ADA clearance requirements

Responsibilities:

• Utilize ProCore for Daily Log, Task, Observation & Inspections documentation
• Crew Planning
• Possesses a high level of carpentry skills
• Material ordering and inventory
• Production tracking
• Coordination with GC and other trades
• Site Safety
• Ensure safety compliance for all framing operations
• Attend weekly safety meeting
• Responsible for site cleanliness pertaining to framing
• Operation of equipment, forklifts, scissor lifts and man lifts
• Equipment inspection forms filled out and submitted daily
• Ensuring a maintenance and service schedule is adhered to
• Coordination of fueling
• Backing and blocking is in place

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $27.00 - $42.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Glenwood Springs, CO: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Required)
