Job Title: Carpenter
Job Type: Full-time

Job Summary: We are a small Father & Son business looking for an experienced carpenter who can work solo on our projects. As our workload increases, we need an individual who can hit the ground running and produce quality workmanship to our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Communicate clearly with clients to identify their specific requests and needs and be able to communicate that back to them, then execute on their vision
- Install structures and fixtures, such as doors, windows, framing, floorings, trim, and finish work using carpenter's hand and power tools
- Ability to work on a variety of projects, both inside and outside, such as porches, bathroom remodels, kitchen remodels, finish carpentry, and more
- Measure and cut materials to the right size and shape
- Construct building frameworks, including walls, floors, and roofs
- Inspect and repair damaged frameworks or other structures and fixtures
- Follow safety guidelines and procedures while working
Requirements:
- Proven experience producing quality work as a carpenter
- Providing a majority (if not all) of your own tools to be used on projects
- Proficient in using carpenter's hand and power tools
- The ability to work independently and unsupervised for the duration of a project
- Knowledge of building materials and construction methods
- Retaining receipts for purchases of material made
- Physical ability to perform manual labor
- Attention to detail
- Excellent problem-solving skills
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Formal carpentry apprenticeship or vocational school training is preferred but not required
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in carpentry or a proficient show of skill in carpentry
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract, Temporary
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
