Mobile Equipment Operator - Turner Staffing Group -

Turner Staffing Group is seeking an experienced mobile equipment operator to join our team with one of our clients in Shepherdsville, KY! As a mobile equipment operator, you will be responsible for operating heavy equipment such as lift trucks, cranes, track mobiles, and or yard vehicles to move materials and products between workstations, and/or receiving storage locations. The ideal candidate will have experience operating heavy equipment in a construction, mining, or manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities:

• Operate heavy equipment such as lift trucks, cranes, track mobiles, and/or yard vehicles to move materials and products between workstations and/or receiving and storage locations.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment and ensure proper operation
• Follow safety guidelines and protocols at all times, supporting a positive safety culture.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
• Work efficiently to meet project deadlines

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Ability to operate at least 2 pieces of mobile equipment (haul truck, farm tractor, water truck, rubber tire backhoe, front loader, etc.)
• A minimum of 1 year of experience operating heavy equipment in a construction, mining, or manufacturing setting
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and drawings
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
