Reporting to the Sr. Manager, Campus Programs, the Engineering Program Lead will be responsible for the strategic leadership and daily oversight of a business unit’s campus hiring programs and processes. Responsibilities include strategy development and implementation of the full life cycle of campus programs. The successful candidate will be a highly skilled individual in relationship building, change management, exceptional organizational skills, and demonstrates outstanding attention to detail, follow though, and a sense of urgency. This role is an individual contributor.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic leadership and oversight to all US Engineering Campus Program hires, including interns, co-ops, and entry level positions
  • Serve as main point of contact for hiring managers and Engineering leadership
  • Serve as Campus Programs liaison to Engineering HR Partners
  • Manage data and reports related to Engineering Campus Programs and provide regular updates and presentations as needed
  • Manage the Engineering intern conversion process
  • Monitor headcount allocations against hiring and open requisitions
  • Manage and execute the Engineering Talent Assessor (TA) hiring model including TA selection, training, and requisition assignment process
  • Coordinate the open requisition process with recruiters and hiring managers. Oversee the opening, filling, and closing of Engineering requisitions
  • Provide leadership and coordination of Virtual Superday interviewing for Engineering Campus Program hires
  • Oversee the development of University Engagement for all PW Focus Schools
  • Ensure a comprehensive diversity engagement strategy is realized.
  • Solicit and confirm support for events across Pratt & Whitney
  • Communicate timelines and deadlines related to Engineering Campus Program hiring
  • Manage the relationships of a portfolio of Universities (typically 3-5). Execute events and travel as necessary to support events
  • Assist in the development of strategic recruitment plans for Engineering schools
  • Manage the Engineering candidate referral process
  • Participate in the Engineering Campus Programs Recruiting Council and Engineering HR meetings
  • Assist in the development and implementation of intern/co-op programming
  • Extend offers as necessary
  • Special projects as assigned
  • Travel required

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5+ years of full-time work experience in Human Resources, Communications, Marketing, Higher Education, or related field
  • 1+ year(s) in a corporate Campus Programs, Campus Recruiting, University Relations, organization
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
  • Demonstrated experience in relationship building, managing multiple priorities and attention to detail
  • Experience developing and implementing creative programs and events
  • Must be willing to travel (overnight) during peak recruiting season (Up to 30%) to execute on-campus recruiting and hiring events.
  • US Citizenship required due to government contracts

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree
  • Experience with Workday Recruiting Applicant Tracking System
  • Geographically located within a commutable distance to a Pratt & Whitney facility in East Hartford, CT or West Palm Beach Florida

Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home).

Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.

The salary range for this role is 75,000 USD - 161,000 USD; however, Raytheon Technologies considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills. Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
