Drumlin Farm Camp in Lincoln, MA seeks people to do activities in nature and on the farmyard, play games, and more. We aim to promote positive youth development, stewardship for the environment, and a respectful and inclusive safe space for all our campers. Camp is a few miles south of Rte. 2 or 10 min walk from the Lincoln stop on the Fitchburg commuter rail.

Monday–Friday, 8 am – 4 pm daily, 40 hours/week
June 12-August 18 (dates available through Aug 25)

Responsibilities

  • Co-lead a group of children exploring fields, forests, ponds and farm
  • Supervise camper health and safety, communicate with caregivers and staff, and provide leadership for campers
  • Gather supplies, prepare materials, and set up program areas, if needed, before each program and keep equipment in working order
  • Assist in cleanup/organization at the end of each day

Qualifications

  • Must be 18+
  • Have 4+ weeks experience working with children (including, but not limited to: babysitting: volunteer or otherwise, and experience with younger siblings)
  • Must hold current First Aid and CPR certifications OR be willing to obtain before the start of the summer (we will offer a free class in June)
  • Participate in mandated, paid camp training and use learning including: natural history, communication, group management, health and safety, and teaching techniques
  • Be willing to be outdoors for four hours a day in most weather conditions and move around sanctuary by foot
  • Legally authorized to work in the US

Pay and Benefits
Pay: $16.50–18.50 / hour depending on experience
