Calibration Technician I

The Calibration Technician performs precise calibrations per written procedures on measuring and testing equipment, tools, gauges, and fixtures as defined by the calibration schedule.
Responsibilities:
- Perform multi-discipline calibrations on measurement systems (i.e., temperature, pressure, pH, time, autoclave, scales, etc.)
- Troubleshoot and repair or replace out of tolerance devices.
- Perform analysis for repair prevention.
Qualifications:
- Associate Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering OR 2 year Technical School (required)
- 3-5 years of calibration, troubleshooting, mechanical experience (required)
Desired Skills:
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills, as well as attention to detail.
- Generate equipment specification documents for calibration standards.
- Previous experience in calibration and test methods on dimensional, electrical, and physical equipment.
