Calibration Technician I

The Calibration Technician performs precise calibrations per written procedures on measuring and testing equipment, tools, gauges, and fixtures as defined by the calibration schedule.

Responsibilities:

• Perform multi-discipline calibrations on measurement systems (i.e., temperature, pressure, pH, time, autoclave, scales, etc.)
• Troubleshoot and repair or replace out of tolerance devices.
• Perform analysis for repair prevention.

Qualifications:

• Associate Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering OR 2 year Technical School (required)
• 3-5 years of calibration, troubleshooting, mechanical experience (required)

Desired Skills:

• Strong organizational and follow-up skills, as well as attention to detail.
• Generate equipment specification documents for calibration standards.
• Previous experience in calibration and test methods on dimensional, electrical, and physical equipment.

Pay: $25.00 per hour
