Job description
Radiance is seeking a CAD Modeler/Mechanical Engineer who will advance signature production and analysis in support of the National Air and Space Intelligence Center at Wright Patterson Air Force Base. This CAD Modeler/Mechanical engineer will produce 3D CAD models using photogrammetric techniques and perform CAD production with established processes and techniques including signature generation, data analysis, exploitation, and dissemination. The candidate will also use the 3D model to develop radar signature products that may include RCS, High Range Resolution (HRR), SAR, and scattering center data.

Desired Qualifications

3 - 5 years’ experience in 3D Modeling and/or computational electromagnetics

Demonstrate ability to make decisions independently on engineering problems and methods, and to resolve important questions and to plan and coordinate work

Demonstrate experience in the use of advanced techniques, theories, precepts, and practice

Self-starter with strong oral and written communication skills; ability to work in a team environment including military, government and other contractors and support all aspects of a program throughout its lifecycle

BS in Engineering or a technically related field and 2-5 years of related experience. (Experience may be substituted in lieu of degree)

A working knowledge of aerospace structures, materials, and components. Experience with SolidWorks/Autodesk Inventor desired. Experience with Rhino3D, Linux, Xpatch and Matlab is a plus
