Manufacturer that uses CNC routing equipment is seeking CAD engineer who is motivated, self-starter with a background in AutoCad and other CAD software. Also, will be trained to create digital templates on digitizer equipment that will be used to create the CAD drawing. Ground floor opportunity with room for advancement with a rapid growing company. Must be a team player.

Candidates needs to possess the following:

· Bachelor’s Degree in engineering

· Experience in the design industry with CAD work

· Excellent communication and presentation skills

· Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

· Handle multiple projects simultaneously.

· Proficiency in AutoCAD and the Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

· A visual thinker who can clearly and concisely convey/execute ideas.

Essential Duties:

• Design and create drawings to send to CNC equipment.
• Properly load and use a CNC machine
• Performing quality assurance measures to ensure efficient production.
• Assisting with floor installation in both indoor and outdoor environments
• Performs other duties as assigned
• Ability to manage projects all the way through production.
• Ability to quickly adapt to the fast-paced environment and exhibit an excellent ability to solve problems in a quick and clever manner.

Experience with Type Edit software or Rhino is a plus.

The office/plant is located in Buford, GA. The applicant’s working hours are from 8:00 – 5:00, Mon. – Fri. 2nd shift also available if desired.
