Job description
Shiftsmart is looking to hire a CAD Drafter to create two-dimensional floor plans for a series of commercial buildings in the Los Angeles area.
Job description: Measure building interior dimensions, map features (e.g. fixtures, windows, doorways, etc), and create a two-dimensional CAD model accordingly.
Pay: $50 per hour (up to 200 hours)
Qualified candidates are required to have the following:
- Ability to take precise measurements
- Ability to systematically survey commercial facilities (1,000 SF - 15,000 SF)
- Ability to create two-dimensional CAD models that adhere to Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) 2017 standards of measurement, including polylines
- Ability to perform basic calculations (e.g. usable area, rentable area)
- Ability and willingness to travel to several or all of the following locations - La Verne, CA; Carson, CA; Huntington Park, CA; Temple City, CA; Monrovia, CA; Long Beach, CA; Huntington Beach, CA; Glendale, CA
