Objective of the Position: The BU Program Quality ensures product and process adherence to standards, print and customer requirements during program development phase. At the interface with the customer and in collaboration with the core team, the BU Program Quality balances feasibility and customer requests and drives practical and sustainable agreements on product and process quality parameters.

Essential Accountabilities:

• Lead the extended quality team
• Set-up, maintain and secure master schedule and DoMM for Quality activities with extended team
• Develop quality assurance concept in compliance with EET / customer /IATF/ quality standards and requirements and ensure application in mass production
• Participate in the D- and P-FMEA meetings and ensure all special characteristics are aligned with “special characteristics monitoring” (PE/ME/Q) including customer requirements
• Drive quality tasks and complete deliverables according to process definitions for acquisitions, customer programs, engineering changes and maintain data in customer APQP portals
• Assess risks and opportunities in regard to Quality that may impact program objectives and trigger appropriate action
• Be part of EC team and manage all resulting quality tasks during program phase
• Create the control plan for prototype-, pre series- and series phases as well as the defect & rework catalogue and transfer to Production
• Support quality tasks at production trials
• Assist with Development of launch containment plan and necessary inspection instructions
• Prepare and accompany customer audits in the program phase
• Review CSR and input to ACQ plus define requalification requirements and ensure FMEA scoping

Secondary Accountabilities:

• Ensure complete APQP, including PPAP to the customer
• Key contact of Program Quality for the customer
• Escalate conflicts when program Quality objectives are at risk
• Prompt information flow within extended team and SE process
• Ensure relevant customer approvals are obtained during the program phase

• Ensure all gauge inspection devices meet customer and internal requirements.

• Conduct all business related activities for, and on the behalf of, Eberspaecher within the limits of applicable local, state, and federal legal requirements.
• Provide support to, and compliance with, all local and corporate Eberspaecher Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) policies, procedures and other HSE related requirements.
• Quality - Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness and follows all EETAM polices related to IATF 16949 and ISO 14001; looks for way to improve and promote quality.

Requirement Profile

Professional Background / Basic Qualification / Work Experience:

• Bachelor's degree (B. A.) in Engineering, Quality or closely related field
• Minimum five years’ experience working for an automotive manufacturing supplier, in Quality
• Minimum five years’ experience with QMS, IATF 16949 requirements, 8D Methodology, GD&T & Root Cause Analysis
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally, by car or plane
• To perform this job successfully, an individual must be proficient with the AIAG Core Tools
