Job Description:
The Operations Data Management Group is seeking a passionate, high energy, IBM iSeries (AS400) System Operations and Administration to maintain our WIP MESA system.
Must Haves (knowledge and background in):
- AS400
- Mesa requirements
- IBM iSeries (o/s v5r4)
- LPAR configuration
- Admin – hardware, backup, IPL, accounts, out queues (device and remote queues), cache batteries/drive monitoring
- AS400 utilities
- AS400 query
- DB2 database
- CL, RPG, PDM, SQL, DDS
- Understanding of how applications support business processes
- Ability to debug existing source code and provide fixes if bugs are identified
- Able to work independently with little direction/supervision
- Highly customer service oriented
- US Citizenship Required
Nice to Have skills:
- AS400 apps- (some knowledge is good but not essential)
- PowerTech Compliance
- DBU data base utility
- New Generation Software (NGS)
- MochaSoft (5250 emulator)
- TL Ashford (Barcoding-Mesa)
- TAA tools
- Informed Decisions – iMail (AS00 email app)
Requirements/Qualifications:
Tasks include:
- App contract maintenance (eSign, PR)
- User account permissions
- User account reset/support
- Printers – support/creation/restart (when network drops)
- AS400/Mesa reporting – QPORT, AS400 wrkqry
- Create new Mesa/AX2009/ AX2012/PDC items (RT, G5 (as of 1/1223))
- Mesa Admin – account creation/support, process/instruction group/data collection creation and support.
- AS400 admin - account creation/support.
- Sox audits – monthly/quarterly
- AS400 software app install/support – IBM Client Access, MochaSoft, QPORT.

Pay Range:
The expected base salary range for this position, if filled in California, is $70,000 - $163,000, dependent on specific skills and work experience. We offer a total compensation package that ranks among the best in the industry. It consists of competitive base pay, restricted stock units, and quarterly bonus payments. In addition to these components, our package includes health benefits that begin day one, retirement savings plans, and an industry leading ESPP program with a 2 year look back feature.
