As a New Business Developer, you will nurture and grow direct sales, both via marketing lead conversion, trade show contacts, and individual lead gen. You will be a key player in our sales organization, and we want you to participate in the department's sales activities and business development.

Airvet is actively creating a new benefits category - telehealth for pets - and is looking for a proven hunter to sell Airvet to large employers. You will have the opportunity to sell a proven service that employees love to the 99% of employers that don’t offer pet telehealth services today (but probably would if they only knew about it).
What Will I Do?
Initiate contact with and qualify prospects as sales opportunities through outbound calls and emails.

Uncover prospects’ business challenges and identify relevant new business opportunities.

Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Customer Support teams to execute Airvet’s B2B marketing strategy for pipeline generation and new logo acquisition.

Record all activities with prospects and opportunities.

Meet or exceed the first meeting scheduled goal.

Help maintain a high-energy environment on the Sales team and across the organization.
All other duties as assigned.

2+ years or more experience in a BDR/SDR role

Experience in Benefit sales a plus

Experience using communication skills to build rapport and explore business challenges while articulating solutions in a clear and concise way

Strong prospecting skills and background to:

Follow-up on inbound leads to set meetings for the Sales team

Pursue outbound opportunities based on intent data and other cold-outbound data sources

Additional Information:
The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries across California and Colorado. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
California: $40 per hour
