As a Business Analyst, you will be an integral team member combining your technical and problem-solving skills to improve operational efficiencies across and within teams in the business office. Your skills will also be leveraged to support health plan contracting, value-based care initiatives, revenue cycle and much more.
You will work with a wide variety of healthcare data across several medical specialties and internal support departments, including claims data, health plan contracting, patient scheduling and operations data, finance data, and much more.

Essential Functions:
- Utilize the most appropriate data analysis software to educate team members, inform decision making and/or streamline processes
- Support payer negotiation discussion and strategy
- Write complex calculations at the database and/or dashboard level
- Write custom database queries to join and manipulate data
- Test and validate all calculations, dashboards, and reports prior to release
- Maintain strong understanding of Revo’s data warehouses and how to use them
- Maintain a basic understanding of internal and external client operations in order to test logic of calculations and reports against operational workflows
- Collaborate with, and actively participate in, the organization’s analytics workgroups
- Provide feedback for other developers on their work when presented for critique review
- Occasionally work with clients to spec their analytics requests
- Occasionally present to clients and train clients on completed dashboards
- Occasionally answer client questions related to data and/or Tableau
- Occasionally participate in community functions relating to outreach events throughout the year
- Any and all other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications and Competencies:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 2+ years of professional experience working in data analytics, healthcare revenue cycle, and/or healthcare consulting firm
- 1+ years’ experience using Tableau and/or SQL
- Proficient in Excel with experience using VBA or Power Query
- If no prior healthcare experience, a strong desire to make a difference in this field is required
- Strong, effective communicator with ability to tailor communication to differing audiences
- Team oriented and collaborative with the ability to flex in support of changing timelines and deliverables
- A problem solver with the demonstrated ability to develop creative solutions and handle confidential information
Environmental Conditions:
- Office setting that also embraces a flexible, virtual workplace
- Candidates preferred to be onsite 2 days per week
- To maintain connection with the team while working remotely, employees are expected to have regular access to high-speed Internet connections and turn on video/webcam for the majority of virtual meetings
