Key Role:

Apply public health knowledge to lead conversations with clients regarding the challenges they are currently facing. Apply expert understanding of public health disciplines to translate public health workflows into technical development requirements. Develop or contribute to solutions to a variety of public health data challenges of varying scope and complexity. Participate in testing of developed solutions. Develop documentation regarding client challenges and subsequently developed solutions.

Basic Qualifications:

• 1+ years of experience in working directly with business system users to elicit and document complete, accurate, and testable requirements

• Experience with IT or data analytics

• Ability to comprehend and document business requirements, functional requirements, and system touchpoints, including management driven requirements, reporting and dashboard requirements, and workflow requirements for business processes

• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements

• Bachelor's degree

Additional Qualifications:

• Experience with programming languages, including SAS or Python

• Experience with government health agencies

• Knowledge of common bioinformatics workflows or public health methodologies

• Knowledge of Palantir technologies

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $52,100.00 to $119,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
