Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- Certified Anti-Money Laundering Cert is HIGHLY PREFERRED
- One to two years of related bank BSA compliance experience or equivalent
- Knowledge of the Bank Secrecy Act, the USA Patriot Act, Office of Foreign Asset Control regulations, strategies and federal regulatory enforcement policies
- Ability to work independently with limited direction from supervisor
- Very good written and oral communication skills
- Online research, organization, problem-solving, and analytical skills
- Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities
- Interpersonal skills
- PC and computer application skills (Word, Excel, Power Point)
- Good judgment with the ability to make timely and sound decisions
Responsibilities
- The BSA Analyst assists BSA Management to ensure the bank’s compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) Program and related regulations
- BSA Analyst will review and investigate alerts and perform other BSA compliance duties as assigned by BSA Management
- Performs Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) Reviews
- Keeps apprised of relevant anti-money laundering laws and regulations
- Supports BSA Management and the BSA team in other BSA Department tasks
- Handles special assignments as requested
- In the performance of respective duties, must maintain knowledge of and ensure compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act and all other regulatory, security and bank policies
