Schedule: Shift times will vary between the hours of: Monday through Thursday 8:00 am-5:45pm, Friday 8:00 am-6:15 pm, Saturday 8:00 am-12:45 pm (two Saturdays per month)

Job Overview
Covers for Branch Manager absences by supervising the branch’s human, financial, and operational resources to achieve branch growth, member satisfaction, and promotes an environment that promotes financial discipline. Projects a professional image.
Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities
- Supervises the daily workflow of a motivated branch team that provides exceptional service, makes sound decisions, and achieves member satisfaction through coaching, role-modeling, and holding staff accountable.
- Teaches branch staff to identify member opportunities for financial improvement, communicate recommendations, and provide support.
- Implements and maintains operational regulations, policies, procedures, and standards to maximize accuracy and efficiency.
- Makes decisions and follows policies and procedures for the safe-keeping of credit union personnel, assets, and facilities.
- Utilizes expert knowledge to take member applications for consumer loans and close loans following established underwriting criteria and lending policies and procedures. Teaches members to use the loan to improve their financial well-being and provides any ongoing correspondence. Accurately and efficiently prepares member documents.
- Demonstrates a work style that is consistent with BHCCU’s values and takes personal responsibility for own learning and development to support those values and the branch’s success.
- Monitors expenditures according to an annual branch budget.
- Maintains up to date knowledge and adheres to all regulations, policies, procedures, and standards that pertain to this position.
- Performs other duties as assigned, including filling in for any branch position.

Physical Job Requirements
Frequent periods are spent standing or sitting in the same location with some opportunity to move about; occasionally there may be a need to stoop or lift objects (typically less than 30 pounds).
Ability to move about and communicate with a diverse membership and employee group.- Ability to accomplish the described responsibilities through the use of computers and technology.
- Ability to sit and/or stand for extended periods of time.
- Ability to work in a changing, challenging and fast paced work environment.
- Variable stress levels.
- Provide own transportation.
- Occasional business travel.
- Attendance at BHCCU sponsored events and/or meetings.
- Obtain certification in the Stamp Medallion (Signature Guaranty) program.
- Obtain Notary certificate.
Environmental Job Requirements
Typically located in a comfortable, quiet indoor area. There may be regular exposure to mild physical discomfort from factors such as dust, fumes or odors, temperature extremes, strong drafts, or bright lights.
Minimum Qualifications
- Pass the pre-employment drug test and background check.
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or an equivalent level of knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through work experience.
- Two years of previous experience as a Supervisor or two years equivalent related management experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience coaching and motivating a team.
