Adult & Teen Challenge PNW endeavors to combat the addiction epidemic with the grace and love of Jesus. We are in need of someone who is equally passionate to join our team. Super Thrift Stores are an intrinsic component to the ministry. They provide educational opportunities for students to learn job skills and positive work ethics as well as provide a source of revenue for the ministry. The primary responsibilities of the Box Truck Driver are:

1. The safe operations of the box truck.
2. The pick-up of Donations.
3. The delivery of purchased items.

4. Other duties assigned by members of the management team.

Supervision Received:

1. The employee works under the direct supervision of an Store Manager and Assistant Manager to determine goals and work to be done.
2. The employee works indirectly under the supervision of the Store Manager who determines the direction and processes that are executed in the Store.

3. The employee shall exercise a high degree of independent decision making and judgment in relation to scope of duties and responsibilities.

Supervision Exercised:

1. Exercise full supervision of Student or Intern assigned to the Box Truck.

2. Supervision of Students or Interns in the absence of store management.

Examples of Principle Duties: (Examples do not cover all duties that will be performed).

• The ability to carry out recommendations and directives of the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager.
• The ability to work in harmony with other staff personnel.
• Emotional maturity, professional objectivity and the ability to act in a Christian manner.
• A working knowledge of the methods and practices of supervision and the ability to carry them out.

Experience and Training:

• High School Graduate or Equivalent
• Demonstrate competency to effectively interact, work with and supervise participating students.
• Any satisfactory equivalent combination of experience and training.

Special Requirements:

• Must be currently in possession of a valid driver’s license for a minimum of 3 years currently licensed in State of residence.
• Good driving record
• Physically able to handle the lifting items per the requirement of the position.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $21.00 per hour
