We are a Minnesota based family-owned business with an opening for a Monday through Friday 1st Shift Truck/Trailer Shop Service Manager at our Scanlon MN location. We are looking for someone detail oriented, with good computer skills, trailer repair experience, customer service skills and a desire to develop a team. You would be responsible for shift operations; supervision and development of techs; partnering with customers.

The essential duties include:*

• Assisting mechanics in locating parts / job related issues / assist techs with repairs
• Provide leadership and direction to the technicians
• Evaluate technician’s skillset and provide training as needed
• Scheduling shift work
• Calling in customer repairs and approvals/ unit updates
• Organizing shift with picking up parts and vehicles for repair
• Invoice repair orders in a timely manner
• Related activities that promote the goals of the Organization

Requirements

• Repair and shop operation knowledge with a strong technical aptitude
• Strong communication skills – both verbally and written
• Ability to train technicians at varying levels of experience, skillset and learning styles
• Able to receive feedback on operations from peers, subordinates and manager and respond in a productive and constructive manner with a focus on solutions
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Strong computer skills – knowledge of Karmak, a plus
• Exceptional organizational skills and ability to multitask

Blaine Brothers Clearwater, Minnesota location is the newest facility to service the growing needs of our clients. Located off Interstate 94 at Highway 24 (Exit 178), we are minutes from Saint Cloud. Our Clearwater location offers complete truck and trailer service and towing.
