The Research Foundation for Mental Hygiene, Inc., at the New York State Psychiatric Institute (NYSPI) is seeking 3 qualified candidates to fill a full-time position of biostatistician in Mental Health Data Science division at The Research Foundation for Mental Hygiene in the Department of Psychiatry at Columbia University Irving Medical Center.
Duties and Responsibilities:

- Statistical analysis of clinical, epidemiological, and biological data.
- Planning and performing statistical analyses and writing reports for various externally funded research projects.
- Preparing tables with results and drafting final statistical methods and results sections for peer-reviewed journal publications.
Minimum Qualifications:
- A MS in Biostatistics, Statistics or MPH in Biostatistics, Statistics, or related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Solid academic training in biostatistics methods including techniques such as generalized linear modeling, multilevel and longitudinal models.
- Strong analytic skills and expert knowledge of statistical programming in SAS and/or R.
- Prior experience in statistical consulting and analyzing psychiatric data.
