Job description
Growing mental health clinic in Rockland County, NY has an immediate opening for a part-time Spanish-speaking Social Worker (LMSW or LCSW). We offer a competitive hourly rate, malpractice insurance, flexible schedule and supportive work environment.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Provide direct services to patients, including casework and group work, community organizational activities and patient education.
- Evaluate patients to determine whether referral for psychiatric evaluation is necessary.
- Responsible to participate in design and implementation of community mental health programs.
- Maintain clinical reports and statistical reports related to caseload.
- Provide supervision of paraprofessionals, social work students and other community volunteers
