The recruitment team at Myticas Consulting is looking for an experienced Network Orchestration Engineer for a remote contract opportunity offered within, and for an American based resident.

This role is customer-facing professional services role and spans consulting, design, delivery, integration and proof-of-concept trials.Your primary responsibilities in this role will include:

• Lead workshops to understand the end-to-end solution architecture and its position within the customer's automation context
• Document, present and deliver relevant design collateral
• Validate SDN and IP network end-to-end packet flows in Domain Specific Languages such as Tosca
• Customize Network Service Descriptor (NSD) templates, generalizations and other items towards the NSD lipary
• Design, deliver and integrate software artefacts as part of the NSP NO solution
• Engage in staging, integration, network deployment and acceptance testing phases of customer projects
• Deploy and configure automation use cases on cloud environments using OpenShift, Kubernetes, public cloud
• The above tasks will have to done specifically in customer contexts, being directly and deeply involved in the definition and execution of customer projects

Required technical skills:

• This role requires cross-domain knowledge and the selected candidate would be expected to be familiar with some of the following:
• ETSI MANO Architecture
• NFV TOSCA YAML templates such as VNF Descriptors, Network Services Descriptors (NSDs)
• In-depth knowledge of Cloud Computing concepts and platforms such as OpenStack, OpenShift
• Hands-on experience with container management and orchestration using Kubernetes and Docker
• Kubernetes architecture and objects (pods, deployments, services, DNS, volumes)
• Experience in workflow languages such as Mistral, Ansible playbooks and process automation using Camunda BPM
• General understanding of 4G, 5G packet core; Nokia ePC product knowledge would be considered an asset
• Work experience with Network Management API concepts and protocols such as NETCONF, YANG, REST, XMPP, gNMI
• Intermediate to advanced IP Routing protocol knowledge and an understanding of Datacenter networking technology
• Software development educational background experience: Python, JavaScript, Data Modelling languages such as JSON and XML
• This is a customer-facing role and 5+ years of experience in relevant telecom domain is needed.
• Education: Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent
• Routing certifications such as Nokia Network Routing Specialist (NRS II) Certification, CCNA or equivalent would be an asset
• SDN certifications: Nuage Networks Expert (NNE) DC / SD-WAN or equivalent would be an asset
