Malvern Health, Inc. is currently seeking a full time Behavioral Healthcare Marketing Representative for the Central Pennsylvania area. The role of the Community Relations Liaison is a full time, benefit eligible position offering a competitive salary!

The Marketing Representative is responsible for the achievement of optimal utilization of Malvern Health’s continuum of care by developing and maintaining direct referral relationships in designated market(s). Provides Sales, Marketing and Customer Service activities within the Marketing Department, participates in the Account Management system, assessing the needs of the customer and making the required number of marketing contacts to each account, in order to develop and maintain a long-term referral relationship which will generate a continuous flow of admissions to meet system census objectives. He/she plans events, provides tours, performs referral source in-services, acts as a liaison between the referral source and the hospital, and seeks out new business development opportunities for the hospital. Identifies and qualifies potential referral sources for the purpose of conducting outreach activities.

Position requires excellent communication skills; capable of operating independently and effectively; self-motivated; experience in developing new territories in target markets with customer base; consistent ability to close sales and achieve assigned objectives; knowledge of mental health and substance abuse terminology; experience in customer service in the health care field preferred; must be able to cope with rejection and criticism.

A minimum of a bachelor’s degree is strongly recommended. Excellent familiarity with the behavioral health field, facilities and agencies in Central Pennsylvania is required. Community relations/marketing experience is preferred.
