A renowned healthcare system in New Hampshire is searching for a Behavioral Health RN for its Emergency Department. In this role, you will triage patients, assess symptoms, plan interventions, implement treatment plans, evaluate responses to interventions, and revise care plans based on overall effectiveness. You will engage in caring relationships with patients and families, work collaboratively with other healthcare staff, and use sound judgment while performing nursing and medical interventions. Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care in a busy emergency department.
• Gather and interpret data through history taking and physical assessments and plan interventions to meet patients’ needs.
• Document care provided and the patient’s progress toward desired outcomes.
• Educate patients and families about the plan of care and how to manage their care after discharge.
• Administer medication to patients as directed.

Qualifications:

• An ASN is required, and a BSN is preferred.
• 1+ years of clinical experience.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and evolving environment.

Additional info:

• Full-time, permanent position
• Hours; 7p-7a
• Pay; 32-55/hr., depending on experience + shift differentials.
