View Point Job Title: Licensed Behavioral Health Clinician (LPC, LCSW, LAPC, LMSW)

Job location/program: Outpatient Services – multiple openings throughout the metro Atlanta area

Job Description

View Point Health proudly provides outpatient treatment to children, adolescents and adults. At the outpatient centers, we promote overall health and quality of life for individuals, youth and families through evidenced-based psychotherapy and medication management to reduce the impact of mental illness, behavior challenges, and substance use.

Job responsibilities:

• Completes diagnostic formulations and appropriate assessments on clients with mental illness and substance use disorders
• Collaboratively formulate a treatment plan addressing issues identified in assessment
• Provide short-term individual and group therapy using evidence based practice therapies for clients with SPMI &/or SUD
• Assist clients in identifying, developing, and sustaining appropriate natural support systems
• Provide psychoeducation around mental health, substance use, trauma, recovery
• Collaborate with other behavioral health and physical health providers to holistically address client needs
• Complete all required documentation (daily clinical notes, assessments, treatment plans) in an accurate and timely manner (agency standard 24 hrs)
• Participate in regular team meetings to collaborate regarding shared clients, build and practice new skills, and stay up to date on agency administrative information
• Participate in clinical supervision to increase competence and professional development
• Participate in on-call rotation to provide after hour coverage, via phone
• Completes annual training requirements as outlined by agency and/or supervisor
• Performs other related tasks as assigned by the supervisor

Minimum Qualifications:

• Masters degree in a related area from an accredited college or university AND associate licensure in the state of Georgia. OR
• Masters degree in a related area from an accredited college or university AND full clinical licensure in the state of Georgia
• Must pass criminal records fingerprint check.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Carelogic or other EHR/EMR
• Previous clinical experience working in Community Mental Health Care with SPMI, SUD &/or Co-Occurring Disorders
• Experience providing ASAM or substance use specific groups such as Dual Diagnosis, DBT, Seeking Safety
