As a Behavior Interventionist (BI) you will assist families seeking support with autism and other related developmental disabilities by providing care in-home, at a support center or in the community.

You will work alongside our community of Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) as you interact directly with your clients during in-home visits to implement established behavioral treatment plans based in the science of applied behavior analysis (ABA). Implementing treatment plans may involve teaching individuals' adaptive skills, communication skills, self-care skills and social skills to improve their quality of life.

We offer full-time and part-time (15 – 34 hours per week) schedules. We highly encourage bilingual applicants.

What Our Ideal Partner Looks Like

• A completed BA or BS. (Preferred majors: Psychology, Education, Child Development, or other related fields).
• Ability to provide services for Spanish speaking families
• Previous exposure to working individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities; or similar experience (i.e. respite, daycare, tutoring, and attendant care services) preferred
• Empathy and compassion towards the families we support
• Maintains professional demeanor, boundaries, and composure
• Demonstrates effective communication, and shows ability to implement existing behavioral plans
• Implement outlined plans to achieve desired goals
• Ability to connect with clients and families by adapting to their specific needs
• Be comfortable working in clients’ homes
• Work in both indoor and outdoor settings as they relate to the patient’s natural environment, which may include being outdoors in a variety of weather conditions (e.g., community skills, recess in a school setting, etc.)
• Be able to lift up to 30 lbs. while assisting patients

Other Must Haves

• Reliable Transportation and open to traveling within Ventura County
• Successfully complete LiveScan background check, employment verification and TB screening
