The Leasing and Marketing Manager is an indispensable player affiliated with the property's on-site marketing and operations efforts. Collaborating with the Assistant General Manager, General Manager, and corporate marketing team, the Leasing and Marketing Manager helps execute the marketing, leasing, and social media vision for their property.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES, FUNCTIONS, AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conduct research on new market communities for budgeting and operations purposes.
• Establish relationships, identify prospect needs, sell around individual needs, close the prospect, and turn them into a resident.
• Aid in the execution of the annual marketing plan, responsible for conducting leasing activities.
• Assist in branding the overall property through cutting-edge marketing campaigns and on-campus promotional events.
• Responsible for achieving occupancy goals of the property through managing various initiatives, campaigns, programs, and events.
• Use social media tools to increase exposure, gain brand awareness, and create client loyalty.
• Identify, develop, or evaluate marketing strategy, based on knowledge of establishment objectives, market characteristics, and cost and markup factors.
• Formulate, direct, or coordinate marketing activities.
• Generate new marketing ideas to problems or innovate around already established approaches.
• Exhibit exemplary attendance and punctuality.
• Comply with company policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION & RELATED EXPERIENCE

• A high School Diploma or equivalent GED is required.
• A bachelor's degree in marketing, management, business, or a related field is preferred.
• A minimum of one year of experience in sales, customer service, or hospitality is required.
• Previous property management experience is preferred.
• A valid driver's license and the ability to be covered on the Company's insurance policy is required.
