The Archives is a stand out craft beer and cocktail bar with a vintage arcade gaming experience. We offer a large selection of craft beers and an equally impressive selection of arcade and pinball machines from the 70s, 80s and 90s.

Job brief

We at The Archives are looking for a few enthusiastic bartenders to provide an excellent guest drinking experience. The successful candidates will be able to mix ingredients in order to create classic and innovative drinks

Responsibilities

• Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages
• Interact with customers, take orders and serve snacks and drinks
• Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations
• Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails properly
• Check customers’ identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age
• Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
• Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
• Comply with all food and beverage regulations
• Stay up to date with new material on beer, wine, and cocktails

Requirements Previous experience as a bartender required*

• Excellent knowledge of in mixing, garnishing and serving drinks
• Computer literacy
• Knowledge of a second language will be considered a plus
• Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
• Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean
• Must be Vermont DLC certified

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
