Hello! We are now looking for bartenders at this brand new location for the front of house staff. An employee in this position will perform the following duties and others that may not be listed:

Prepare, craft, and serve cocktails and wine/beer orders.

Greet guests and take food and beverage orders at the bar.

Assist with food and beverage selections.

Transact money and handle cash as part of daily duties.

Clean and sanitize work area and assist with side work.

Preference will be given to applicants with bartending experience. We will also consider applicants with no prior experience and provide training as part of the job. Please also consider the bar back position for no experience required positions.

Yes we know the hourly rate is low. This is a tipped position as with most bartender positions in the United States. We would love to pay a high hourly wage that doesn’t involve tips, but this is a macroeconomic change that would be impossible to start as an independent restaurant. In this affluent area, the average take home pay with tips is estimated to be in the $20-30/hr range. In the event this is not the case, the hourly rate will be adjusted appropriately. For the sake of transparency we have posted our intended hourly rate. It is difficult to determine a reasonable area average because nearly all employers looking for this position intentionally does not post the hourly until you go in for an interview.
