REQUIRED TRAINING/

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

· High school diploma and undergraduate management studies.

· 4-6 years of previous Banquet Manager, Assistant, or Captain experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:

1. Performs public relations work for the hotel with guests.

2. Possesses complete knowledge of department position and responsibilities as well as the responsibilities of other departments.

3. Hires, trains, schedule, and supervise banquet department personnel.

4. Controls the flow of paperwork.

5. Communicates and cooperates with the catering department and the kitchen.

6. Maintains departmental supplies and equipment.

7. Supervises overall departmental activities.

8. Knowledgable of Bar and Alcohol event standards and trends

9. Trains, supervises, and delegates responsibilities to the Banquet Captains.

10.Maintains excellent attendance and professionalism

11.Assists with Audio Visual set up.

12.Orders supplies, food and beverage requisitions, Audio Visual equipment, rental supplies and linen.

13.Performs other related duties as assigned by the Food and Beverage Director.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
