Job Summary

We are seeking dedicated and passionate Banquet Housepersons to join our exceptional team at a competitive pay rate ($16-20/HR DOE) plus benefits (PTO, Vacation, Holiday and Health Insurance) for Full-Time associates.

The Banquet Houseperson’s responsibilities include but are not limited to the set up, refresh, tear down, and maintenance of all meeting space following the standards of service set forth by DePalma Hotel Corporation and the management of the hotel.

Essential Functions

• Set meeting and banquet rooms through safe and correct use of tables, chairs, staging, dance floors, and other equipment
• Properly clean and set meeting rooms per specifications on BEO’s or as given by supervisors.
• Maintain proper storage of all banquet items
• Be familiar with each room, the room names, location, and capacity
• Stay updated on all upcoming and current functions
• Clean and clear all function rooms and areas quickly and quietly
• Maintain clean and organized working areas
• Respond to all guests needs as requested
• Report all repair issues to Maintenance immediately
• Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.
• Perform any other job related duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent and/or related experience in a hotel or a related field preferred.
